Year 1 Maths planning
A message from your teachers
I hope this message finds you all well. We are now into week 6 of not being at school and I so miss seeing your smiling faces everyday. I know we all want to return to school as soon as we can and are keeping safe in the meantime by staying at home.
Firstly I want to thank so many of you for sending in your wonderful seaside homework! What a treat it has been to see what you are making at home with your families, and I have put them on Twitter for everyone to see your masterpieces.
I am still setting work on Reading Eggs and My Maths, and sending messages through My Maths when you have completed each piece, so well done for having a go. Unfortunately I cannot do the same for Reading Eggs but I can see who has been on, so I have put your names on Twitter too!
Now I know not everyone will be loving doing their work from home, I certainly would rather be in school with you, but it will help if you can just do a little bit each day. There are lots of ideas in our Work From Home folder on our class page, but please do not think you have to do it all! Little and often is the best way
With this in mind if anyone is struggling to understand anything, or if your grown ups need some support to help you with your learning you can send an email to the school office and your teacher will reply to you. You can also request a phone call if you need to speak to us, by sending an email to the office and your teacher will try and call you at home.
Any problems let us know, we are still here to help you. Stay safe everyone. We miss you!
From Miss Cavander, Mrs Hobbs and Mrs Manning
