Autumn Term - Me and My Community
During the Autumn term, we will share stories to support us, as we start Reception. We will learn about ourselves, families, teachers, new friends and wider school community.
Along the way, we will enjoy many celebrations and family traditions.
As well as exploring the planned books and poems, we will also provide opportunities to explore wider texts that have been inspired by the children's fascinations and interests.
Reception - Autumn Key Performance Indicators
Over the year, we will be supporting the children to develop a range of skills.
During the Autumn term, we will be exploring 4 specific skills
that we will be focusing on.
During circle time, we will introduce each of the four focused skills and support the children to identify a target for them to work towards.
