Welcome to the ARC!

Hi guys!

We hope you are all managing to access the resources that are being provided remotely through Class Dojo and the school website. Please access your specific year group on the class pages. The government have outlined clear expectations that parents and schools must follow during this half term. The remote learning policy can be found on the Windy Arbor website. School will provide lessons online in the form of recorded teaching, PowerPoint presentations, written information and independent activities. These will be uploaded daily before 9am. All activities follow our usual teaching sequence and it is important that children access the teaching resources before attempting the independent activities.

The expectations are that at least 2 pieces of work will be uploaded daily. Once these have been completed, they need to be sent back via Class Dojo, if you are having any difficulties with this then please contact your class teacher via the WA Teachers email.

We currently have 9 of our Arc children in school,  so the teaching sequence, resources and independent activities will be the same. This is to ensure that all children will be accessing the same learning and will have covered the same content for when they return to school. We also have a selection of ARC rainbow tasks and the children can use one of these (if they are working from home) towards the required pieces of work if they wish. 

If you have requested a paper pack the school office will contact you to arrange a suitable time for collection. If your child works from a paper pack the expectation is still the same and we expect 2 completed pieces of work to be photographed and uploaded to Class Dojo every day. We appreciate that this is a difficult time for everyone and that children working at home isn’t the ideal, but please do get in touch if you need further help and support. Until we are allowed to open our doors again stay safe.
