National Share a Story Month
During National Share a Story Month, the children read a variety of stories based on the them, ‘Myths, Magic and Mayhem’. Throughout the week, the children were able to take part in workshops to design their own mythical creature, create their own potion and write their own version of a myth. As part of this week, various classes took part in virtual author visits, where they listened to and created some exciting stories. We celebrated the end of the week with a competition where the children were able to win copies of Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief. This event really inspired our children as readers.
