Homework

Every week the children will receive a piece of homework, which must be returned the following Tuesday. In addition, the children should access Times Table Rockstars. They also have access to Purple Mash at home. 

At the beginning of the year your child will also receive a new planner. This will enable your child to: keep their own record of targets, note any important dates/events and to keep a record of time spent on homework tasks throughout the week. Their planners will also have their rainbow reader chart in for them to get dates and signatures when they have read at home. Planners need to become an important part of each child’s school day and we expect them to be kept up to date and signed each week by each child and a family member.  They will then be checked every Tuesday, along with their homework by a member of staff.
