This spring, our learning will take us on a journey from our own doorstep all the way to Mexico. We’ll be exploring our local area and comparing it with life in Mexico, looking closely at human and physical features, different climates, and developing our map‑reading skills along the way.

In Science, we’ll be learning about animals including humans, with a focus on life cycles. We’ll also revisit some of our previous learning to help us make strong links and deepen our understanding. During Spring 2, we’re excited to welcome some special visitors who will help bring our life cycle work to life.

Our focus texts this term are Traction Man and The Day the Crayons Quit, which will inspire our reading, writing, and creative thinking throughout the term.
