Throughout the Euro 2021, author Tom Palmar wrote a series based on the events that unfolded. The children were able to listen to extracts every week, which linked into the real life events and scores for the games that were being played. The boys at Windy Arbor loved reading these extracts and took part in a country-wide digital author visit, where they were able to listen to his writing process for his next extract and even support him with ideas for writing. This helped our boys develop their love of reading.
