Week beginning 22.3.21
Please follow the PowerPoint on Class Dojo for our learning this week. We will be focusing on subtraction, there will be no Monday's lesson due to fit for schools.
Our learning today is subtracting ones and tens. We will be using our knowledge of our number bonds to help us with our learning today, for example 5 + 5 = 10, 6 + 4 = 10. We will be using number lines, dienes and our 100 square to help us with our learning. Any work that you need will be sent to you on dojo for you to complete, you can also find the PowerPoint for this week's learning on dojo.
Our focus today is looking at subtracting a 2-digit number and a 1-digit number together but focusing on exchanging our tens, for example 1 ten can be exchanged for 10 ones. We will be asking the children to use their knowledge of their number bonds to the nearest ten to help them today, we will also be using 100 square, a number line and dienes if the children want to use them. Any work that you need to complete will be sent to you on dojo.
For our arithmetic lesson today we will be focusing on our number bonds. We will also be completing our times table test today. Any work that you need to complete will be sent to you on dojo.
Our focus for today is to subtract two 2-digit numbers together, we will be using our knowledge from yesterdays lesson to help us move on today. We will be using our place value of tens and ones to help us when working out our addition sentences. The children will have access to a 100 square, a number line and dienes. Any work that you need to complete will be sent to you on dojo.
