WB: 21-9-20 Peace at Last

Our learning this week began with listening to the story 'Peace at Last'.

We have listened closely to the sounds in story and discussed sounds in our own environment such as, in our homes and the outdoors. We have also used musical instruments to make our own sounds.

We ordered the story using pictures from the book.

We explored number by singing '5 Baby Bears jumping on the bed, 1 fell of and bumped his head. Mummy phoned the doctor and the doctor said, "No more bears jumping on the bed!"

We used scissors to cut out characters from the story. We used these to make puppets and re-told the story in our own words. Can you remember what happed in the story?

We matched initial sounds and words to characters and objects from the story.
