Here are today's lessons and activities.
You can use the timetable on the previous pages as a guide for how long to spend on each activity, although some may be shorter or longer depending on the content.
Remember to upload at least two pieces of work to your class dojo portfolio.
In today's Maths lesson, we are going to extend our knowledge of perimeter to work with rectilinear shapes. This is any shape that has straight edges and right angles. Watch the video and use the power point to support you with completing today's activities. Remember you can go back to yesterday's video if you need further support with calculating the perimeter of shapes.
Still continuing with our Book Week story 'What We'll Build' By Oliver Jeffers, we are going to really think about friendship. We are going to think about that special friend and write about why they are special to us using our writing skills. Listen to the video carefully and complete the questions in the form of paragraphs.
This afternoon, switch off your screens and enjoy some fun mindfulness activities. The posters below contain lots of creative ideas for you to enjoy during the afternoon. Have a look through and pick your favourite one to complete. Or you might want to have a go at a few.
You might want to complete these mindfulness activities this afternoon too. You could put on some relaxing music in the background to help you unwind.
