Here are today's lessons and activities.

You can use the timetable on the previous pages as a guide for how long to spend on each activity, although some may be shorter or longer depending on the content. 

Maths

In today's Maths lesson, we are going to learn more about telling the time to the nearest 5 minute interval. So far, we have practised o'clock, half past, quarter past and quarter to. Today we are going to focus on minutes past the hour using an analogue clock.

English
In todays English lesson you will be planning the beginning of an adventure story. Please listen to the video carefully and look at the example given. The adventure story will be based on the children from the story of 'The Railway Children' and must include your own character that you created in last weeks lesson. Please use your story maps from yesterdays lesson which should have some of your ideas on there too.

Curriculum

In todays Curriculum lesson, you will be researching facts about the Romans. Please watch the link and read the information carefully in order to create lots of facts about the Romans.

 

When you have lots of different facts, complete the fact file sheet provided.

 

If you have any of your own resources such as books then please use those too.
