WB 15.03.21 Mary, Mary Quite Contrary

This week we will be learning the nursery rhyme 'Mary, Mary Quite Contrary.'

We will talk about what we think it is about and link this to our gardening and planting in nursery garden!

We are going to think about what plants, flowers and vegetables need to help them grow.

Mary, Mary, quite contrary | Early Years - Nursery Rhymes

Suitable for teaching 0-5s. An animated and subtitled version of the popular nursery rhyme, 'Mary, Mary, quite contrary'.Subscribe for more Early Years clips...

Can you go outside and do a drawing of your favourite flower that you can see?

Tell me about it by uploading a video to ClassDojo...

Can you find 5 vegetables in your home?

(If you do not have any, perhaps you can count 5 other items).

What sound do they each begin with? You could give them an alliteration name; for example, if I had 2 carrots, I might call them 'Colin Carrot' and 'Connie Carrot.'

Can you have a go at creating a potato printing?
