Maths

In today's Maths lesson, we are learning to describe the movements between co-ordinates and locations. 

CHALLENGE: Using the blank map, have a go at drawing some of your own shapes. Then create a set of instructions and move them to a different location on the map. 

You might want to create your own treasure map and describe the co-ordinates of all the locations you choose to include.

Shared Reading

Choose your favourite part of the story so far and write a paragraph to summarise the key events.

Remember to retell the events in detail using descriptive language and the correct punctuation. 

 

CHALLENGE: Why was this part of the story your favourite so far? Write a paragraph giving your opinion and explain why you think this.

Art

Think about your favourite moment of the Christmas holidays. This could be either something that really happened or something from your dream Christmas holidays! 

Design a poster, create a 3D model, draw a picture or write a descriptive paragraph to illustrate your ideas. 

You can be as creative or as imaginative as you choose!
